Do you love diving? Or, maybe, you are one of those people who spends hours snorkelling when you go to the beach? Would you like to know more about Posidonia oceanica meadows and other protected habitat? If yes, this is the right activity for you!
Your role in this campaign is to help us record seawater temperatures. We will give you a bracelet to wear that will automatically log the temperature at intervals as you dive or snorkel. Once you are out of the water you will be able to upload the data onto a database. This information will allow us to better understand the main climate change drivers and help us mitigate their impact.
Find out more by contacting the diving centres that are taking part in this campaign (list of participating diving centres) and the marine biologists responsible for this campaign (link to a page for “contact us”).
